About Me
Mckenzy‘s passion for dogs has been a lifelong journey that started in her childhood in Northern Illinois and moved with her all the way down to the coast of Florida. Mckenzy spent her entire life surrounded by animals-growing up on a farm taught her responsibility and how to truly understand different pets' needs. She has worked hands-on with animal rescues, giving her experience with many different breeds, temperaments, behavioral issues, and health problems. It was during her time as an animal care technician that McKenzy’s passion for dogs and training truly came alive. She adopted a German Shepherd and quickly worked to become a skilled and successful trainer. The rest is history. Her desire to continually learn and improve led her to working at a German Shepherd breeding and training facility where she fell into the world of working dogs. Mckenzy's balanced training approach combines compassion, structure, and starts with the foundation of a great relationship with your dog! She customizes her methods to suit each dog’s unique personality and needs.
Outside of training, Mckenzy enjoys hiking with her own dogs, competing in dog sports, and traveling! Her mission is to empower dog owners with knowledge and confidence to build a fulfilling life with their canine companions.
